You may have never considered that the mortgage crisis was caused by those horrible “poor minorities.” Rush explains here that President Obama is using class warfare to make the “bankers” (white people is what he means) look like meanies. The poor bankers are being blamed for a problem that was actually caused by the poor minorities. The key to deciphering Rush’s point? He always portrays blacks as the “poor minorities” and whites as the victimized “rich bankers.” Sorry Rush but those bad loans had nothing to do with the Community Reinvestment Act but they had everything to do with greed. The Southern Strategy has not been pushed this hard since the sixties
When you untwist this dog whistle disguised as a rant calling out dog whistles (did I just type that?) you will find that it leads to one conclusion… Republicans are racists.
Republican Senate candidate Pete Hoekstra of Michigan fired up this controversial TV ad that ran before and after the Superbowl. The ad attacks third term Senator Debbie Stabenow using what many see as racial dog whistles to paint her as a friend of those “heathen chinee.” The truth doesn’t matter because we know one thing… Since Republicans are racists, they react very positively to racist stereotypes.
So what is Senator Debbie Stabenow’s record on China?
The Currency Exchange Rate Oversight Reform Act
Tuesday, Mar 16: U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) today announced bipartisan legislation to penalize countries like China that undervalue their currency to artificially discount their foreign products. This form of cheating creates an unfair advantage over U.S. products, costing us jobs. The Currency Exchange Rate Oversight Reform Act will require the U.S. Departments of Treasury and Commerce to take action to support American businesses and workers. The legislation includes provisions from Senator Stabenow’s Currency Reform for Fair Trade Act, which she introduced last year.
Preventing Taxpayer Dollars from Buying Chinese Products
Friday, Jun 18: U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Russ Feingold (D-WI), Sherrod Brown (D-OH), and Bob Casey (D-PA) yesterday introduced bipartisan legislation, the China Fair Trade Act , to prevent Federal taxpayer dollars from buying Chinese products and services until the Chinese government plays by the rules.
So Pete Hoekstra decides to attack Debbie Stabenow on something that she actually has a pretty strong record on but since he did it using racial dog whistles, the white Republican red-meaters in Michigan will respond positively and most likely defend the commercial in every way possible… As is their right.
Be proud of your record, Senator Stabenow, and don’t let this ad disturb too much of your sleep. This Republican is wrong about your accomplishments concerning Chinese trade policy and besides… Republicans are racists.
There comes a point where a dog whistle is no longer a dog whistle. This ad from Mark Oxner, a Republican running for the new 27th congressional district in central Florida, portrays our first black president as the captain of a slave ship filled with white child slaves. That’s right. A slave ship filled with white slaves. No need to mention that the commercial is filled with lies, it’s pretense speaks for itself.
The blatant racial overtones on this ad may appeal to the conservative whites in northwest Florida (the Redneck Riviera) and in parts of Central Florida but it’s thinly veiled racism should make the people who think it’s “awesome” feel ashamed of themselves. Who thinks it’s awesome? Check YouTube. Mark Oxner for Congress has set comments to approve only and guess what? They are only approving comments from people that agree with the ad.
An ad with President Obama at the helm of a slave ship filled with white child slaves? Even artsy Republicans are Racists.

When you have to interrupt your own diatribe to ask “was there anything racial about that?” then there probably was some racist content in there. What’s sad is how often that Rush has to ask that very question on his own show.
Juan Williams is a top journalist in his field and has a long and respected career. I don’t always agree with the guy but I do respect him. What saddens me is how much grief he has received since he had the nerve to ask Newt Gingrich if he could see how saying that poor blacks should ask for a job and not a handout could upset black people. Not only was he booed, he’s caught hell from his own home team at Fox News and now from the defacto leader of the Republican Party… Rush Limbaugh.
This is nothing new for Rush Limbaugh and he continues to be the poster child for why Republicans are Racists.

So Eric Bolling is TV Trolling this conversation about a recent study that shows that less educated people tend to be conservatives and manages to derail the conversation by making one very important point: Conservative chicks are hotter than liberals.
First, any sane person knows that this is basically subjective but it’s Bolling’s examples that are sweet. He points out some of what he thinks are unattractive women like Oprah Winfrey, Joy Behar, Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg. Notice the two minority women he tosses in with the two overweight white ladies. He then points out his smokin’ hot conservatives… All are skinny, blonde bimbos who just happen to work at Fox News.
I usually stick to the blatant racism in these clips when I post and this one is subtle in that aspect. It does, however, show a trait that tends to go hand-in-hand with racism and helps expose that Republicans are Chauvinists too.

That’s right. That finger that Jan Brewer threw in the President’s face wasn’t racist (although I did point out that it was rude) and President Obama should call out the “Black Mafia” in the media that said it was! Sweet! As a white dude with a blog (media!) being called a part of the “Black Mafia” by an african-american is about the sweetest street cred that I can garner.
Governor Brewer’s finger may not have been involved in a hate crime but this doesn’t change the opinion that I share with my brothers in the “Black Mafia”… We still believe that Republicans are racists.
This one speaks for itself. The Governor says people would have rather voted on Civil Rights than fight for them in the 60’s… But he has forgotten one thing… The people who were demanding their civil rights couldn’t vote. You can’t vote for your civil rights when you don’t have civil rights.
This just goes to show that even when one spends months convincing you that he is sane… Republicans are Racists.
Why not refer to him as “boy,” Newt? Mr. Williams uses Gingrich’s highest title (Mr. Speaker) to ask the question about Newt referring to the President as “the Foodtstamp President” and Gingrich responds with a snarky “Juan…” Juan Williams had a legitimate question which he asked on Martin Luther King Day and this is the response he got. Both the crowd and Newt showed their disgusting colors.
Most people might think this is a joke but, sadly, it’s not. The Tennessee Tea Party is making a push to further edit our history in order to prevent teaching schoolchildren about subjects that the Tea Party feels puts a bad light on America’s founding fathers. This means sweeping changes to how slavery at the time of the founding of our country was handled and addressed by those who organized our democracy.
The group called for textbook selection criteria to include: “No portrayal of minority experience in the history which actually occurred shall obscure the experience or contributions of the Founding Fathers, or the majority of citizens, including those who reached positions of leadership.” That’s right. If your minority experience would reflect negatively on John Adams or George Washington, it should not be shared with our children. Today’s student apparently only needs to know that our white founding fathers were good Christians who never made a lapse in judgement… You know… Like Jesus.
Call me unpatriotic but if your love for your country is only based on viewing Thomas Jefferson as a demi-god and that he is without fault or sin, then you have moved into religion and way out of the bounds of patriotism. Our founding fathers were humans that made mistakes and hiding those mistakes from future generations only opens up the possibility of repeating those mistakes tomorrow.
There is only one reason that you would want to purposefully alter the negative racial history of your forefathers… You guessed it… Tea Party Republicans are racists.
